Blue Horizons welcomes Wet Wheels to Pembrokeshire!
Blue Horizons Welcomes Wet Wheels Foundation to Pembrokeshire
Blue Horizons was excited to meet the Wet Wheels Foundation at the Port of Milford Haven a few weeks ago. Geoff Holt MBE, founder of the Wet Wheels Foundation and a champion for disability rights, is on a circumnavigation of the UK to bring awareness to the Wet Wheels Foundation and the importance of creating more accessible water activities. For more information on his trip please click here.
Thanks to Geoff Holts’s visit and our existing accessible monthly trips, we are now in talks with Wet Wheels and the Port of Milford Haven with the aim of bringing an accessible boat to Pembrokeshire permanently. This would mean we are able to provide inclusive boat trips for local residents and visitors, ensuring everyone can enjoy the stunning coastal waters in a comfortable and supportive environment.
The Port of Milford Haven has been instrumental in facilitating this partnership, reflecting their commitment to community access and inclusivity.
For now, our accessible boat trips are still running monthly. To secure your spot on an available boat trip, fill out our quick registration form by clicking the button below. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us. Blue Horizons boat trips are proudly sponsored by the Port of Milford Haven and Dale Sailing, without their support the trips wouldn’t be possible.
We would also like to thank JWJT media for another incredible video capturing Geoff Holt’s visit.
We look forward to welcoming you on board!
