Contact UsWays to surf
We provide four different surfing styles to make surfing enjoyable for everyone: single board, tandem, prone, and tandem seated surfing. We encourage you to choose what feels comfortable for you. Whether it's lying down on a board or trying another technique, it's all about having fun and embracing the waves!

Individual Surfing
Are you comfortable carrying a board, kneeling and standing independently?
The foamie board is for you!
On a board like this, you can kneel, lie down or stand, whatever makes you comfortable!
You may be part of a small group but your instructor will always be close by to help and guide you, enabling you to surf independently.
To find out more about our foam boards see our Gear guide

Tandem Surfing
Do you need a little more help with balance, and water confidence or have difficulty following instructions?
Our tandem board may be the right choice for you!
Our tandem boards are large and wide. We want you to feel comfortable so you can stand, sit, kneel or lie down on this board.
You will have at least 1-on-1 support from a specialist instructor who will be on the board with you.
To see photos and learn more about our tandem board, see our Gear Guide

Seated Tandem Surfing
Do you have difficulty with mobility or find kneeling, sitting or lying down unaided difficult or uncomfortable?
Our seated tandem board could be for you!
The Formula 2 race seat will keep you comfortably on the board as you surf the waves. We also provide a wetsuit and helmet to ensure you are warm and safe.
A specialist instructor will be on board riding the waves with you and we have at least 3 other team members in the water to support you.
To see photos and find out more about our seated board please see our Gear Guide

Prone Surfing
Do you have difficulty kneeling or standing on a board but would like to have a bit more independence?
Our prone board could be right for you!
Our prone boards have a chest support for comfort and multiple handles to help you steer. You can stay lying down or give kneeling a go.
You will have assistance from at least one member of our team (sometimes 2-to-1 depending on ability and comfort levels).
For more photos and information about our prone board please see our Gear Guide

Sponsor a lesson
For many of the people we support, disability is not the only barrier to accessing the ocean — financial barriers can be just as significant.
Some adaptive surf sessions require up to four trained instructors to ensure a participant is safe, supported and able to enjoy the experience. This level of care makes surfing possible, but it also means the cost can be out of reach for many families.
Your donation helps remove that barrier.
By sponsoring a session, you are giving someone with additional needs the chance to experience the freedom, confidence and joy that surfing can bring.
Every donation helps open the ocean to someone who might otherwise never have the opportunity.
